Us girls like to fly so high we leave the sky,

Us girls put up a fight

Us girls leave as fast as they arrive

Us girls color our own hair in the sink
Us girls like our gin and tequila to drink,
Us girls prefer dark hair and dark eyes
Us girls try and try
Us girls fall for liars
Us girls decide to set the world on fire.
Us girls dream of bigger and better places
Us girls never unpack our suitcases
Us girls wear too many accessories
Us girls play and swing beneath the trees.
Us girls have fun wherever we go,
Us girls love the summer sun but wish for winter’s snow
Us girls choose to stay up all night
Us girls don’t have the guts to put up a fight.
Us girls are optimistic with others
Us girls are pessimistic with our lovers
Us girls make more mistakes when we're asked to choose
Us girls are too stubborn to lose.
Us girls never are wrong
Us girls love to sing aloud to the sad songs
Us girls have absolutely no clue
Us girls loudly sing the blues.
Us girls look for the right sign
Us girls never seem find the right one to “be mine.”
Us girls spend too much money on clothes and booze
Us girls always hit snooze.
Us girls are strong,
Us girls are stable,
Us girls might not win at beer pong,
But us girls will dance on the pong table.
And even though we are a mess,
And even though we may not have a care
We never pick the truth.
